Precautions for the use of car glow plugs

1. The glow plug is used to preheat the intake air when the diesel engine starts at low temperature. Using the glow plug in winter can shorten the start-up time, reduce the battery current consumption and reduce the wear and tear of the purple oil machine.

2. When the engine is cold, power on the glow plugs for 2 minutes and touch the electrode of each glow plug by hand. If the heating element of the glow plug is disconnected, the electrode is cold. This method is simple and easy to implement, but the effect is slightly worse.

3. A single test of the glow plug, remove each glow plug, ground the outside of the glow plug, and connect the live wire to the glow plug terminal_F (12V electric probe for 24V batteries), and perform a short cycle test. If the glow plug is hot, it is intact.
